Who we are

A family business.
Honest about fabric.

We're based in Melbourne. We find cloth that would otherwise sit in a warehouse — deadstock and end-of-roll from mills and wholesalers — and sell it directly to makers.

Why deadstock

The fashion industry overproduces. Mills run surplus. Fashion houses cancel orders. The result is enormous quantities of high-quality fabric — often from European mills and premium suppliers — that has nowhere to go.

Makers, on the other hand, struggle to access quality fabric at reasonable prices. The retail fabric market is dominated by synthetic, low-grade options at the accessible price point, while quality fabric is priced out of reach for most.

We bridge that gap. We source the overflow and bring it directly to you.

How we do it

  • Material honesty. We describe fabric as it is. If composition is approximate, we say so. We won't sell you something and let you find out when it arrives.
  • Human scale. Every decision is made by a person, not a system. Customer service is us, not a ticket queue.
  • Accessibility without compromise. Pricing, language, and UX should welcome makers of all levels and budgets.
  • Scarcity as a feature. Limited availability isn't a problem — it's why the prices are what they are, and it's what makes each piece worth having.
